Beta software
Biofaze is early, invite-only beta software from the United Kingdom, provided "as is". Features can change, move or break while we build. We do our best to keep things working, but we can't promise it'll be perfect or always available.
Who can use it
The app and its accounts are for people aged 18 and over. The free calculators are written for adults too; under 18s should use age-appropriate tools such as the NHS children's resources instead.
Your account
Access to the app is by invite. Keep your login details to yourself, since you're responsible for activity under your account, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
Not medical advice
Biofaze is a tracking and coaching tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional advice. Calorie targets, coaching nudges and any health figures are for information only. Always talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, diet or training.
Free tools
Our free calculators, TDEE, BMI, sleep and any we add, are open to everyone and provided for general information. We work hard to keep them accurate and in line with published guidance from bodies like the WHO, NICE and the NHS, but every result is an estimate by nature and you use them at your own discretion. Nothing you type into them is stored, and they are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
Your content
The data you log is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as set out in our Privacy page. We don't sell it.
Our brand
The Biofaze name, mark, designs and software are ours. Don't copy them, scrape the service or pass any of it off as your own. Everything you log remains yours.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. That means no attempting to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, and no using it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses that come from relying on beta software or on informational tools, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us for the service, which during the free beta is nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
Changes and availability
Because this is beta, we may update these terms or change the app as it develops. We'll flag material changes to account holders. The service may be interrupted for maintenance or as features move around.
