Who we are
Biofaze is an invite-only health app run from the United Kingdom. This page explains how we handle your personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Any questions, email hello@getbiofaze.com.
What we collect
Before you have an account, the only thing we collect is the email address you leave to join the waitlist. Once you're in the app, we also store the data you choose to enter — food logs, workouts, weight, sleep and any wearable data you connect — so the app can work for you.
Why we collect it
Your waitlist email is used for one thing: to send your invite and the occasional beta update. Your in-app data is used only to run the features you're using — showing your numbers, tracking your progress and powering your coaching. Nothing more.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for the waitlist email, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing, and on performance of a contract to run the app once you hold an account.
Where it's stored
Your data lives in our managed database (Supabase). Every row is locked to your account with row-level security, so other users can't see it. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't hand it to third parties for their own purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@getbiofaze.com and we'll action it. You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't run advertising trackers and we don't build a profile of you across other sites.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page, and flag anything material to account holders by email.
